You are officially a Biodiversity Superhero!

Thank you for completing this WebQuest

Invasive species - whether they be flowers, trees, insects, or animals - pose a massive threat to the biodiversity of established natural ecosystems. A lack of predators gives them the ability to spread aggressively, which can create a devastating source of competition for native species. Invasive plants are of particular concern in Alberta, and efforts must continually be made to control these alien organisms. Every method of control has its pros and cons, but with careful research and bold ingenuity invasive plants will be kept at bay.
